1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the standards that apply to all content posted, shared, or submitted by users on the ISLA platform, including the social feed, reviews, check-ins, and profile information.
By using ISLA, you agree to comply with this AUP. Ckrit Labs Ltd reserves the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy without prior notice.
This AUP should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. The Spirit of ISLA
ISLA exists to help people discover, plan, and share the best of Ibiza's party season. We want the community to be:
- Authentic: real experiences, honest prices, genuine reviews
- Welcoming: inclusive of all backgrounds, nationalities, genders, and identities
- Helpful: information that genuinely helps other users plan their trip
- Responsible: content that does not encourage harm to people, venues, or the island
3. Prohibited Content
3.1 Harmful and Illegal Content
You must not post content that:
- Is unlawful under UK, EU, or Spanish law
- Promotes, glorifies, or facilitates illegal activity of any kind
- Promotes, sells, or facilitates the supply of illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Depicts or encourages underage drinking or drug use
- Contains threats of violence or incites others to commit violence
- Constitutes harassment, stalking, or targeted abuse of any individual
3.2 Hateful Content
You must not post content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or abuse on the basis of:
- Race, ethnicity, or national origin
- Religion or belief
- Gender or gender identity
- Sexual orientation
- Disability
- Age
3.3 Sexual and Explicit Content
You must not post:
- Nudity or sexually explicit content of any kind
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
- Content that sexualises minors in any way
3.4 Misinformation and Fraudulent Content
You must not post content that:
- Is deliberately false or misleading (including false event information, fake prices, or fabricated reviews)
- Impersonates any person, DJ, club, or organisation
- Promotes fake ticket sales or fraudulent offers
- Constitutes unsolicited advertising or spam
3.5 Intellectual Property
You must not post content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others, including:
- Copyrighted music, photos, or video without permission
- DJ or artist promotional materials without permission
- Venue branding or trademarked materials used in a misleading way
4. Reviews and Check-Ins
Reviews and check-in content must be:
- Based on a genuine personal experience at the venue
- Honest and not commercially motivated (you must disclose any relationship with a venue)
- Respectful — negative reviews are permitted but must be factual and not abusive
The following are not permitted:
- Reviews submitted without attending the venue
- Fake positive reviews submitted in exchange for rewards, payment, or free entry
- Coordinated review manipulation by venues or competitors
- Reviews containing personal attacks on individual staff members
5. Rewards and Referral Integrity
The ISLA Rewards programme and referral competition must be used in good faith. You must not:
- Create multiple accounts to generate fake referrals
- Use automated tools or bots to generate referrals or earn points
- Sell, transfer, or broker referral codes for money or other benefit
- Attempt to manipulate check-in or review systems to earn undeserved points
Any attempt to abuse the Rewards system will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all points and competition entries.
6. Enforcement
6.1 What we may do
If you violate this AUP, we may, at our discretion:
- Remove the offending content without notice
- Issue a warning to your account
- Temporarily suspend your account
- Permanently terminate your account and ban you from ISLA
- Report content to law enforcement where required by law
6.2 Reporting content
If you see content on ISLA that you believe violates this policy, please report it using the in-app report function (available on all posts and profiles) or email us at info@ckritlabs.com with details of the content in question.
We review all reports and aim to respond within 48 hours. We will not always share the outcome of a report, but we take all reports seriously.
7. Appeals
If you believe your content was removed or your account was suspended in error, you may appeal by emailing info@ckritlabs.com within 14 days of the action, with the subject line "AUP Appeal". We will review all appeals and respond within 10 business days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP as the platform grows and new situations arise. We will notify users of significant changes via the app. Continued use of ISLA after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
